What is the definition of a grab-and-go breakfast?
Grab n’ Go breakfasts are packaged in paper bags, boxes, or trays and are similar to popular fast food restaurant breakfasts, but healthier. Students pick up their breakfast from a central location in the school and consume it at their leisure, within school regulations.
Since March 2020, when schools were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, PUSD’s Food & Nutrition Services have provided over 2.98 million meals. Despite the heat, rain, and smoke, we ensured that our students and their families had access to nutritious food.

Each Grab & Go contains three nourishing meals: lunch, dinner, and breakfast for the following morning. All meals must be consumed off-campus.

However, because it is low in fat, it is not recommended for children under the age of two, as they require the additional energy that full-cream products provide.
